(Google, Yahoo, MSN, AOL, etc.)<BR/><BR/>I use this fake blog to dink around with the template, HTML, and other stuff that could potentially kill my real blogs. If I destroy this practice blog all I have to do is revert back to a default template and it wipes out the mess so I can start over again.<BR/><BR/>Being paranoid, once I find a winner, I go to the blog I want to change. I copy and paste all the HTML into a separate document like Notepad, (and save it!) before copying and pasting the HTML of my fake blog into the existing blog. Before I save it, I hit preview to make sure it looks right. If it works, I hit Save.
