As a reading teacher, books have always had a special place in my heart.  Then I had children...and books have found an even more special place.  Mr. C and Princess A love books - they are everywhere around our house. What is the must read repeatedly book of the past few weeks?

Outside with Lil Boo is an illustrated children’s book that tells the creative story of events experienced through the eyes of a sweet boy...Lil Boo. Lil Boo and his imaginary friend, Onote, share their journey as they explore an array of outdoor adventures. Follow along with Lil Boo and Onote as their world comes to life in a rhythmic story that highlights their discoveries that begin with letters A to Z. 


Peas and Bananas Outside with Lil Boo is the first story in a series so there is more to come!  That is great news for young readers; it helps them identify more with the characters and anticipate what will happen next.  Outside with Lil Boo is filled with colorful illustrations by Dania Piotti that bring Boo and Onote's adventures to life. The illustrations are warm, soft, and incredibly child friendly.  Truly, they make our children smile when they turn a page and see more. Princess A loves little Onote and well, Boo, I mean, who wouldn't love him?  He is a small, playful, HAPPY boy discovering the world.


Peas and Bananas Outside with Little Boo is a story that any child will love.  After all, it reflects the world and all that is in it through their child-rimmed lens. The vocabulary is rich and sparks discussion; scowl, downed feathers, frantically, transform, pollinating, prickly, and exceedingly are just some of the words you and your child will discover. 


Sounds like a great children's book, doesn't it?  That's great because Peas and Bananas is giving one copy away to a lucky From One Mommy to Another reader.
