What a great feeling! While I cursed and swore at the TV...ok, sometimes at Jillian ON my TV, I really have enjoyed the 30 Day Slimdown.
Did I really say that? Me? I actually enjoyed exercise?
Yes.
I enjoy how strong I feel. I enjoy how alert and energetic I feel. And I enjoy being able to eat the treats I enjoy without as much worry about their effects on my weight.
The funny thing is - Jillian has a way of brainwashing you. I started out in summer thinking that The Shred was HARD! And while it is, I now see Level 1 of The 30 Day Shred as a day off. Kind of scary if you ask me...
The first two weeks of Exercise TV's 30 Day Slimdown were really quite easy.
Day 1: 30 Day Shred: Level 1
Day 2: 30 Day Shred: Level 1
Day 3: No More Trouble Zones
Day 4: 30 Day Shred: Level 1
Day 6: Quick Trouble Zones
Day 7: REST
Day 8: 30 Day Shred: Level 1
Day 9: 30 Day Shred: Level 2
Day 10: Quick Trouble Zones
Day 11: 30 Day Shred: Level 2
Day 12: Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism
Day 13: No More Trouble Zones
Day 14: REST
Mind you, I finished the second week feeling like I had this thing conquered. And then I took a look at what the next two weeks had in store...how silly I had been to think my ride would just coast along til the end.
Day 15: 30 Day Shred: Level 1 AND Quick Trouble Zones
Day 16: 30 Day Shred: Level 2
Day 17: No More Trouble Zones
Day 18: 30 Day Shred: Level 1 AND 30 Day Shred: Level 2
Day 19: No More Trouble Zones
Day 20: Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism
Day 21: REST
Day 22: 30 Day Shred: Level 2 AND 30 Day Shred: Level 1
Day 23: Quick Trouble Zones
Day 24: Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism
Day 25: Quick Trouble Zones AND 30 Day Shred: Level 2
Day 26: REST
And then I saw this...
Day 27: No More Trouble Zones AND 30 Day Shred: Level 1
Yes, you read that right. Basically an hour and a half of Jillian! I have a whole new appreciation for the Biggest Loser competitors!
Day 28: Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism AND Quick Trouble Zones
Day 29: 30 Day Shred: Level 2 and 30 Day Shred: Level 1
Day 30: No More Trouble Zones
I did it and feel amazing! I worked out a new plan for incorporating each of the workouts in the 30 Day Slimdown. Head on over and check it out!

It's great motivation to see other moms ready to workout with Jillian every day. I use the workout plans that you came up with more often than hers. Your body adapts to 30 Day Slimdown after a while, so it's good to have the challenging options. Thanks!
