Hayden Harnett's Limited Edition Pompidou in Black and Moonbeam

I love the UPS Man - instead of coming at his standard 4-5pm range, I come home from swim lessons with Mr. C and Princess A to find my long awaited packages at the door 4 hours ahead of schedule. I need to make him some cookies.

Today's arrival included two of the Limited Edition Pompidous from Hayden Harnett. I caught the buzz on these too late so was thrilled to learn of their LE run on these. At least I showed some restraint and only ordered two instead of all three colors - LOL!

Front shot of the Black Leather Pompidou. This was supposed to be Black Zeus. I have never owned a zeus leather from HH so honestly can't tell if it is or not. I have heard buzz that it is not...

The front pocket...I love the lining on this. This was a change from what was originally stated, but this works for me.

Here is a front shot of Moonbeam - what an awesome color. It is not as pearly IRL. It has more of a tan undertone to it. A great neutral in my opinion.

The organization in the Pompidou is amazing! I can store all of my credit cards, punch cards, insurance, library, movie, frequent flyer, you name it. I have room for cash in full length, all of my coupons, and gift cards. Most importantly, my iPhone fits in the main area or the front pocket as well.


Each side of the main compartment has a card pocket with 4 slots. I have mine doubled up. There is a pocket behind that as well.

The front pocket is big enough to carry some powder and chap stick with plenty of room to spare! I can swap these out and carry my iPhone in here as well.

The Pompidou comes with a strap that can be shorted to carry it on your waist if you need to (Personally, I don't envision this being a preferred method for me, but hey, to each their own).

It can also be carried on the shoulder or cross body. The strap is very comfortable and can adjust in length.

I am so happy to finally have two Pompidou's in my closet. Anything I would change? The credit card slots are a bit tight right now. But, they will break in. The other changes I would make are not to the Pompidou itself...

For the price tag of $155 a piece, they should each come with their own dustbag. We were also told we would get a numbered certificate since these were a Limited Edition item. Does it matter in the whole scheme of my life? No. But, if you stated we would receive them, then we should. Simple as that.

For the first time in over a year, my Pilot has been retired to my closet. I never thought the day would come.

And before I sign off, I thought I would share a couple shots of my FIRST HH Cuff...I can almost feel a new obsession coming on. These are awesome and so "me". I don't wear a lot of jewelry so these are a great way to add some personality to my basic shorts and tees.

I got the Celina Cuff in Brandy - perfect for me! Neutral and so soft...
