My MommyFest Prize: A Pass It On Plate!

As I mentioned in my Tuesday Toot, I realized I won a prize at MommyFest 2008! Am I a dork or what for not realizing it until now? I was reading other people's entries and blog hopping and somehow just missed my name on there. So, while I am a dork, I am a happy dork. :)

I chose a Pass It on Plate from a wonderful woman in Salem, Oregon by the name of Pam Hawk. I have given something similar to this as a gift a few years back, but the Pass It On Plate adds a bit more creativity to the process. You can read about it here.

I love the Pink Sunflower PlateWrap that mine will arrive in. And to top it off, Pam informed me that my plate would arrive with a dozen yummy cookies from one of her favorite bakeries (I chose M&M - love you Mr. C!). Now in my world, winning anything makes for a happy day. But, if you put sugar on top...well, life just doesn't get much better than that.

So - thank you to Marie at Mommy Community for choosing me and waiting forever for me to realize it...and to Pam for the great gift! I will post a pic when I receive it - we'll see if the cookies are still there or not.
